Crucial Conversations helps associates at all levels to communicate effectively when its “crucial” - when stakes are high, opinions vary, and emotions run strong.  Using these skills associates can address differences and resolve them without damaging team relationships. 

Crucial Accountability builds on the skills taught in Crucial Conversations. Crucial Accountability teaches a step-by-step process and new skills to enhance accountability, improve performance, and ensure execution.  Participants learn how to talk about violated expectations in a way that yields two-way accountability and allows further progress to be made.

2. Rounding for Outcomes

Rounding for Outcomes helps improve front line performance and morale by facilitating positive two-way communication. It creates a culture of open and transparent communication and helps engage staff.  It also provides an invaluable opportunity to monitor the daily activity of staff and patient satisfaction, identify issues in the delivery of care and improve processes.

Rounding for Outcomes is a series of scheduled, structured “check-in” conversations with your team. The schedule and structure actually make these conversations more comfortable because everyone knows when they are coming and what to expect.  Whether done one-on-one or in small groups, the conversations are quick (five minutes or less) and efficient.
